Peppermint Patty Brownies |

Ingredients:
- 9 large Peppermint Patties
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 pound bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 8 oz. Unsalted Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup Sour Cream
Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Line a 9-inch square cake pan with parchment paper.
3. Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until completely melted. Remove from heat.
4. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together in a large stainless steel bowl.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream, eggs and extract.
6. Combine dry ingredients with eggs and whisk until combined. Add to the chocolate-butter mixture.
7. Pour half the brownie mix into the pan. Place the peppermint patties in rows on top of the mixture.
8. Pour the remaining mix over the patties and bake for 20 25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Remember, it is better to slightly underbake than overbake.
9. Remove from oven, cool, wrap and chill overnight.
10. Cut the brownies into little rectangles. Keep in mind they must be very cold to be cut well.
